Virginia Estate is a small residential estate on the eastern outskirts of Middleton St George. Originally built in the 1950s the houses served as married quarters for the RAF personnel based at the local airfield. Since 1983 the houses have been privately owned but the estate has remained unadopted by the local borough council. The common land, football/sports pitch, footpaths, roads and surface water drains are maintained by Middle Oak Management Ltd.
